The Danbury Drum Corps had another exciting week on the parade trail with back-to-back performances and big wins in both Thomaston and South Salem, NY!

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ August 2 – Thomaston, NY Parade
We were proud to take home Best Musical Unit on a picture-perfect summer evening. The crowd was fantastic, and the energy throughout the parade route made for a memorable night.

We’d also like to extend a huge congratulations to our fire company, Middlebury Fire Department, for an outstanding showing:

  • πŸ₯‡ Best Appearing Company in Coats

  • πŸ₯‡ Best Color Guard

  • πŸ₯‡ Best Appearing Commercial Truck

πŸŽ‰ August 6 – South Salem, NY Parade
Just a few days later, we marched in South Salem where we proudly earned Best Senior Musical Unit. The momentum is strong, and the corps is sounding better than ever.

Katonah Fire Department once again brought home top honors with:

  • πŸ† Best Overall in State

  • πŸ† Best Fire Department Color Guard

We’re incredibly proud of our performers, support crew, Middlebury and Katonah Fire Departments for continuing to represent excellence at every stop. The season isn’t over yetβ€”see you as we return to the Bridgewater Fair Parade for the first time in over 10 years on August 15th!
