Danbury Drum Corps Performs in Washington, CT FD’s 100th Ann. Parade
Last night, Washington, CT celebrated a major milestone — the Washington Volunteer Fire Department turned 100 years old. Danbury Drum Corps was honored to be part of the celebration, marching in the parade representing the Bethlehem Fire Department.
A Night to Remember for Bethlehem FD
It was a big night for Bethlehem FD, who brought home four trophies from the parade:
🏆 Best Appearing FD, 15 and Under
🏆 Best Appearing Ladies Auxiliary
🏆 Best Appearing Ambulance
🏆 Most Ladies in Line
Congratulations to everyone at Bethlehem FD on a fantastic showing!
A Win for Fellow Danbury Musicians
The night's only music trophy went to Celtic Cross, another Danbury-based group — congratulations to them on a well-earned win! After the parade, the bullpen was treated to a great performance from Celtic Cross, a fitting way to close out the evening.
Food, Music, and a Beer Garden
The celebration didn't end when the parade did. Marchers were treated to free food trucks, a beer garden, and live music — the perfect way to wrap up a beautiful summer night and a milestone celebration for the Washington community.
